By now you know my name is Charles Lee Duhon, I grew up in Bridge City, Texas, my wife's name is Lynn Marie Holcomb Duhon, she is from Richardson, Texas. We fell in love aboard my sailboat one night, while I was teaching her sailing theory, (that's all it took!) and were married in 1990. In addition to being a marine artist, I am also employed by Hall Digital Imaging and Lynn is an Accounting Manager for Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. About 5 years ago we decided to adopt a little girl from China and what an incredible blessing to our lives! From the moment we saw her picture at 11 months old, we knew our lives would change forever. Her Chinese name is Min Ying, which translates to "Heroine of the People" and her english name is Jasmine Ying Duhon. She is proud of her Chinese heritage and is a very bright, sweet and creative child and is doing great in school. We live in Mesquite, Texas very close to the lake where we sail, in 1990 we bought a house that has a great loft art studio which is perfect for my marine art business. We also have a dog named Bailey, our very smart but sometimes annoying cocker spaniel. |
